To reset the Service light on the Mercedes E-Class, insert the ignition key into the ignition switch to turn on the instrument panel. Once the panel is on, press the button on the right side of the steering wheel to access the menu, selecting the "ASSYST PLUS" option.

Then, select "Full service" followed by "Confirm service": when the confirmation message appears, select "Yes" to ensure the light disappears permanently from the instrument panel.
