How do you reset the Service indicator light on the Mercedes B-Class?

The Service indicator that appears on the instrument panel of the Mercedes B-Class can be reset by turning on the instrument panel, turning the key inside the ignition switch: once the panel has been activated, you can press the button on the left side of the panel to access the menu and then navigate inside with the arrows on the left side of the steering wheel. You will need to select the "Service" option and then "Reset": this way a confirmation message will appear, to which you must respond with "Yes" in order to turn off the indicator completely.
