Replacing the steering wheel keypad of a Mercedes Class B model w245 is a very simple and quick operation to perform independently. The first step to take is to insert a screwdriver into the side hole of the steering wheel that can push the internal lever and thus release the central body of the steering wheel where the horn and airbag are located. The second step is to unscrew the two screws located on the upper sides of the steering wheel in order to remove the keypads. The third step is to unscrew the four screws located on the bodies of the keypads to detach the microchip from the keyboard. The fourth step is to insert a new keyboard and close the keypad body. The fifth step is to insert the new keypad and attach the central body to the steering wheel.
