Disconnect the battery: Before starting, it is essential to disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to avoid the risk of accidental airbag deployment. Locate the access holes: Behind the steering wheel, there are usually holes or openings that allow you to reach the springs or clips holding the airbag in place.

Release the clips: Using a flathead screwdriver or a similar tool, gently press on the clips or springs through the access holes to release the airbag from the steering wheel. Remove the airbag: Once the clips are released, the airbag should be free to be gently pulled out from the steering wheel.

Disconnect the connectors: Behind the airbag, there will be electrical connectors linking it to the vehicle's system; disconnect these connectors carefully.
