How to set the service mode of the rear brake pads on the Mercedes E-Class w213

Let's see how to set the rear brake service mode on the Mercedes E-Class W213 with electronic handbrake. Turn on the instrument panel, press the handbrake button to release it and then turn off the panel. Press the start button once, then press and hold the handbrake button; while doing this, turn on the panel: "brake replacement mode" will appear on the display; select "move to fitting position" and wait for the brake pistons to retract completely. Turn off the panel, open the brake fluid reservoir cap and proceed with the replacement of the brake pads.
