How to Bleed the Brake Fluid on a Peugeot 206

Let's see how to bleed the brake fluid on a Peugeot 206: open the bonnet and empty the fluid reservoir with a mechanic's syringe; then fill it with new fluid to the brim (check the owner's manual to see if it is DOT 4 or DOT 4+). The bleeding order is crucial and must follow this exact sequence, starting from the wheel furthest from the brake pump: rear right wheel/rear left wheel/front right wheel/front left wheel. To perform this operation, lift the car and place it on axle stands, clean the bleed valve with a wire brush, place an 8 mm spanner on the valve, connect a clear tube to the end of the valve, and immerse the other end in a bottle containing new brake fluid (to prevent air from returning). An assistant will slowly press the brake pedal to the floor; you will loosen the valve by 1/4 turn with the spanner, close the valve before the pedal touches the floor. The assistant releases the pedal slowly and repeat until no more air bubbles come out. Tighten the valve to 7-8 Nm. Repeat on the other three wheels, then lower the car, fill the reservoir to the max level, and with the engine off, press the brake pedal several times until it becomes hard and firm, then perform a low-speed brake test.
