Brake Fluid Replacement in the Mercedes E-Class

To replace the brake fluid in the Mercedes E-Class, start by positioning the vehicle on a lift or flat surface, securely immobilized. This step is essential for performing maintenance safely and stably. Next, drain the brake fluid circuit and introduce a cleaning fluid before adding new oil. Begin by emptying the small oil reservoir (located in the engine compartment) using a common syringe or any suitable tool for this task. Then, fill the reservoir with the same amount of cleaning fluid. Now, connect a pump to the bleed screw located on the circuit connection behind each tire, starting with the front driver's side wheel and continuing to the corresponding rear wheel, then to the other front wheel. This way, continue to expel the oil from the circuit. You can also press the brake pedal to pump the cleaning fluid through the circuit until it is emptied. Finally, pour the new oil into the reservoir in the quantity specified by the manufacturer.
