Instrument Cluster Removal and Replacement
Model: Mercedes Classe C

The instrument cluster of the vehicle in question is simply clipped into the dashboard: to remove it, just pull it forward.
To do this, it is suggested to bend the tip of a sturdy steel wire not too thick, about 1/8 to 1/6 inch, so you can insert it sideways between the instrument cluster and the dashboard, rotate it to wedge the tip on the edge of the instrument cluster itself, and pull it forward, extracting the instrument cluster from its seat. Once free, disconnect the connectors attached to the back and pull it out sideways. Then, bring the new instrument cluster close, connect the plugs, and press it into its seat until it clips in.
