Replacing the Instrument Cluster on Mercedes C-Class

Hello! Today, replace the instrument cluster / speedometer on a Mercedes C-Class. On either side of the instrument cluster, there are two slotted holes where you need to insert special keys (code 140-589-02-33-00). By pushing with these special keys, you will hit the small internal clips securing the instrument cluster. Then, turn the key to release the cluster: pull it out of its housing and, as you do this, disconnect the rear connectors. Proceed in reverse order until the new cluster is fully installed, reconnecting the connectors and securing it in place.
