How to Reset the Air Conditioning on a Mercedes-Benz E-Class?

On the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, you can reset the air conditioning by turning on the instrument cluster and inserting the ignition key into the corresponding ignition switch. Once the instrument cluster is activated, press and hold the REST and 0 buttons located on the center panel of the dashboard. While holding both buttons, you will notice that the air conditioning settings will be reset to their initial state; once the reset procedure is complete, you can turn off the instrument cluster again.
