When the SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) light appears on the dashboard of a Mercedes Vito, it indicates a fault in the passive safety system (airbags and seatbelt pretensioners). To clear this light, connect a diagnostic tool to the OBD port of the vehicle, located under the steering column: once the scanner is connected, select the vehicle and its corresponding version. Following the on-screen instructions, you can clear the light and then disconnect the device from the OBD port.
