How to reset the Service light on the Mercedes C-Class?

From the instrument cluster of the Mercedes C-Class, you can completely clear the Service light by turning on the ignition, inserting the key into the corresponding ignition switch: once it is on, you can navigate through the menu that will appear on the display in the center of the dashboard. Here, you will find the option that shows the miles remaining until the next service and has the wrench icon: once this icon appears, you need to press and hold the button located on the left side of the instrument cluster until the Service light turns off.
