The service light on a Mercedes-Benz C-Class vehicle turns on when it is time to perform the required maintenance service. Basic maintenance operations include: oil and oil filter replacement, air filter replacement, engine check, and timing belt inspection. To reset the service light, do the following: - Turn on the ignition; - Press both the OK button and the "call" button to access the Service Menu; - Select "ASSYST PLUS" and then "FULL SERVICE"; - Wait for the light to turn off and for the new mileage to load; Complete the reset by turning off and restarting the ignition.
