To change the engine oil in a Mercedes Vito, bring the engine to a moderate temperature and then turn it off. Park the vehicle on a flat surface and safely lift it, removing any undertray. After placing a collection container under the sump, unscrew the drain plug and allow the used lubricant to drain completely.

Once finished, reinstall the plug using the specified gasket and respecting the torque indicated by the manufacturer. Then, open the filler neck and gradually introduce new oil, choosing the appropriate Mercedes-Benz specification and quantity for the engine.

Finally, briefly start the engine, check for leaks, and after a few minutes, check the oil level, correcting it if necessary.
