To facilitate the engine oil replacement on the Mercedes Vito W639, it is advisable to lift the vehicle on axle stands; otherwise, accessing the oil sump can be quite awkward. Once the vehicle is secured, place a container under the oil sump and remove the drain plug, which you will then re-screw once the oil has stopped flowing.

Now, lower the vehicle and move to the engine bay where you will remove the air filter and the protective panel. This will allow you to access the oil filter, which you will replace along with the seals before proceeding to pour new engine oil into the designated filler.
