How to Reset the Maintenance Light on a Mercedes S-Class W222

To reset the service light on a Mercedes S-Class W222, turn on the ignition and navigate to the odometer screen. Use the arrow buttons on the left side of the steering wheel to scroll until you see the total odometer reading on the central display of the dashboard.

Now, press and hold two buttons on the steering wheel simultaneously: the "OK" button on the left side and the "Receive/End Call" button on the right side. Hold them both for 5 seconds.

The service menu will appear on the display with various options, such as "Vehicle Data", "Dynamometer Test", and "Assyst Plus Workshop". Use the arrow buttons to select "Assyst Plus" and confirm with "OK". In the submenu, choose "Full Service" and confirm.

Also confirm the type of oil used.

When prompted "Service carried out?", select "Yes". The display will show the message "Full service carried out". Return to the standard display by pressing "Back" multiple times.
