How to Remove the Steering Wheel on a Mercedes S-Class

Remove the steering wheel from the car to replace it. Let's see how to disassemble the steering wheel on a Mercedes S-Class. Unscrew the fastening screws located in the steering wheel cover (where the airbag is located) using a socket wrench or screwdriver. Once the airbag is released (driver's side), disconnect the power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel. Unscrew the fastening screw and remove the steering wheel. Reconnect the power connectors, then press the steering wheel with your hands while simultaneously tightening the fastening screws at the back. Test the operation of the steering wheel and the buttons.
