Removing the Trunk Liner on Mercedes GLE

Model: Mercedes Gle V167 - Years 2019-2026
Part: Door trim panel

With the engine off and the parking brake engaged, open the trunk hatch. First, remove the surface part of the handle by prying it in the gap with a small flat screwdriver or a plastic wedge. At this point, you will uncover two screws that you need to remove. Now, using the plastic wedge, pull out the lower part of the trunk liner just enough to access the connectors, which you will need to disconnect. After removing this part of the panel, take off the caps and unscrew the screws of the main lock. Follow this procedure until complete disassembly.
