How to Remove the Radio from a Mercedes Benz C220 W204

This guide shows how to remove the radio from a Mercedes Benz C220 W204. First, open the navigation display compartment. After removing the rubber covers from the edge of the compartment, use the extractors to remove the air vent support. Set the removed piece aside. Using a Torx20 screwdriver, remove the two mounting screws of the radio and lift the two locking pins. At this point, the radio is free and can be pulled slightly forward and upward to extract it. Be careful not to pull too hard as the connections may get damaged. Disconnect all cables. The reassembly procedure is done in reverse order; during this operation, it is advisable to spray some silicone spray on the radio pins and the retaining clips of the air vent support.
