Mercedes Classe E - Video tutorial
Model: Mercedes Classe E
W211
- Years 2002-2009 The guide shows how to replace the auxiliary battery of the Mercedes Benz W211 E-class. The battery in question is located inside the engine compartment, on the left and under the passenger compartment air filter. Access to the accumulator is done by unscrewing the filter fixing bolt and extracting it from its position. After lifting the protective clip of the negative pole, disconnect it with a 10mm wrench and lock it so as not to create contact with the battery. Carry out the same operation on the positive pole. With the 10mm wrench, unscrew the fixing bolt of the battery anchor plate, lift it up and take out the old battery. Clean the compartment and the electrical contacts from any deposits. The installation of the new auxiliary battery follows the same steps as the disassembly, but in reverse.
