Locating and Checking the Auxiliary Battery on the Mercedes E220 W211

In this video, we will see where the auxiliary battery is located on the Mercedes E220 W211: you need to open the hood of the vehicle because the auxiliary battery, which powers the vehicle's electronics, is located in the front left of the engine bay, right in front of the passenger. Remove the bolt found above the left front shock absorber cover, which secures a large black plastic cover. Once this cover is removed, you will find a small battery underneath, which is the auxiliary battery. You can easily test it with a multimeter set to the voltage function: it should have a voltage of 12.4 volts or higher.
