In this video we can see how to reset the sunroof of a Mercedes E-Class W211 version. This operation must be done every time we change the car's starter battery, so we need to reprogram the lower and upper stops of the windows and also the sunroof. The first thing to do is to press the open button for five seconds; then we will also press the close button for five seconds. When it is in position, hold it down for another five seconds; we will do the same for closing. Now it should be correctly reprogrammed. Make sure of this, otherwise repeat the procedure.
