Sanding and Cleaning a Cloudy Front Headlight

In the following video, a sanding operation is performed on the front headlight of a Mercedes CLK. The headlight is quite cloudy; therefore, before considering its replacement, effective and more economical maintenance can be carried out. Open the front bonnet and apply protective tape to the edges of the headlights to be treated. Use a cloth and a slightly abrasive cleaning cream on the outer surface of the headlight. You can also use sandpaper, but do not apply excessive pressure. Proceed to clean each lens with a cleaning product. Wipe the lens with a cloth. When the surface is still wet, use a polishing cream and spread it well with your fingers. Spray the liquid cleaner again and dry with a clean cloth.
