Mercedes Classe E - Video tutorial

Model: Mercedes Classe E W212 - Years 2009-2016
Part: Locking the trunk
Operation: How to adjust the boot opening force of a Mercedes E-Class w212

When the trunk of the car opens with too much force it can be very obnoxious, and sometimes even dangerous. There is a way to make it open more slowly and safer, without complicated interventions, on the Mercedes E-Class w212. Just pull away the side seal that holds the upholstery fixed, and we will discover that on both sides there is a large spring, which regulates the opening force of the trunk. If we want it to open more slowly, just move the spring hook from the third to the fourth hole, on both sides. In this way the springs will be less stressed and will open with less force. Then all you have to do is put the seal back on top of the luggage compartment upholstery and the job is done.

How to open the Fiat Panda petrol tank flap

In this video we proceed to the explanation, also verbal, of the technical operation of the opening and closing of the petrol tank cap. With the ignition on, the fuel cap, or rather the fuel filler flap, is open and therefore accessible. When trying to turn off the aforementioned ignition and then lock the car with the key, it is assumed that the petrol door, as well as the doors of the car, are closed, but this is not the case, in fact the latter in practice always remains open. Ultimately, you can access the fuel tank whether the car is closed or open.
