Wiring Installation for Tow Hitch

To perform this installation, you should have a good understanding of electrical engineering since you will need to make electrical connections by intercepting the vehicle's original wiring and correctly interpreting the wiring diagram. This will allow you to connect the lights and turn signals on the trailer. Start by removing the trunk trim and the support panel from the rear trunk to access the fuse box, where you will intercept and make the connections. Begin by taking a positive connection from the main power cable to connect to the control unit, inserting a fuse in between. Then connect the ground to the vehicle's body. Complete the connections while respecting the wire colors and the respective signals for the parking lights, brake lights, and turn signals, intercepting them from the rear light power supply, and adequately insulating the connections.
