In this video tutorial we can see how it is possible to replace the air filter in a Mercedes CLS C219, following a few simple steps: the first thing to do is to buy a new and quality air filter at a authorized dealer; next step we have to get in the car, turn off the car and pull the handbrake. Lift the bonnet and secure it with the special rod. Remove the engine molding, disconnect the electric cables present in the suction pipe; by means of a simple screwdriver, we loosen the three metal collars and then we have to remove the suction pipe. Using NR8 cylinder head, unscrew the air filter holder. Using a Torx NR T27 wrench, we unscrew the 4 screws of the filter holder. Remove the old filter element from its housing and replace it with the new air filter. Reposition the cover and fix it with the appropriate screws. Reassemble all parts in reverse order.
