The fuse box is located on the left side of the engine compartment: to open them, remove the humidity from the box using a dry cloth. Open the retaining clips and unhook them from the fuse box. Lift the lid straight up and remove it. There is also a fuse box in the passenger compartment on the passenger side, located in the footwell. To access it, go through the passenger door and remove the mat in the front passenger footwell. Then lift the floor covering, press the fastening clamp and lift the cover upwards. The EOND socket is instead located under the driver's steering wheel, on his left, in a lower flap.

How do you open the fuel flap of the Volkswagen Golf 5?
