In order to remove the door lock, a series of elements that interfere with it must first be removed. Start with the disassembly of the door panel: remove the cover of the internal handle grip and unscrew the screws underneath, remove the plastic triangle in correspondence with the external rearview mirror and release the pressure clips along the edges of the panel, disconnecting the cable of the internal opening lever to be able to remove it completely. Disassemble the side airbag fixed with two screws in the upper part and two rivets in the lower part: these will be removed with the aid of a drill; then remove the caps from the side fixing screws of the lock to be able to remove the lock and the external handle and therefore the fixing pins of the lock itself; to complete the disassembly it is finally necessary to remove the glass descender by removing the relative fastening rivets, then disconnect the socket and extract the lock.
