Instructions for Removing Door Lock

To remove the door lock, you must first remove several elements that interfere with it. Start by removing the door panel: take off the handle cover and unscrew the screws underneath, remove the plastic triangle near the external mirror, and detach the clips along the edges of the panel. Disconnect the cable of the internal opening lever to fully remove the panel. Next, remove the side airbag secured with two screws at the top and two rivets at the bottom; these will need to be removed using a drill. Then, take off the caps from the side screws securing the lock to remove the lock and external handle, followed by the securing pins of the lock itself. Finally, to complete the disassembly, remove the window trim by taking out the relevant securing rivets, then disconnect the connector and extract the lock.
