How to Reset the Service Light in a Mercedes Viano?

Model: Mercedes Viano MK 1, W639 - Years 2003-2013

To reset the service light on the Mercedes Viano, first insert the key and turn on the ignition. Then use the controls on the left side of the steering wheel to navigate through the various menu tabs until the display on the dashboard shows the mileage, then use the arrows to go to the service option. At this point, locate the "0" button to the left of the dashboard and hold it down for at least 10 seconds until you hear a beep. Repeat all steps but this time press the 0 button only once. Select the "complete service" option using the controls on the right side and confirm with the appropriate button on the left side of the steering wheel. Continue by setting the oil parameters and finally complete the procedure by pressing the 0 button for three seconds.
