In this short tutorial, we can see how to unlock the automatic transmission in the Mercedes GLK, an emergency operation to be carried out, for example, in case the battery is dead and we need to shift the gear into neutral. To do this, first of all, we go inside the cabin, then we detach the base of the gear shift knob and locate the yellow button located on the lower right side of the mechanism. Using a flat-tipped screwdriver, we press and hold the button while simultaneously moving the gear lever until it is in the desired gear position.
