How the Spare Tire Works on the Mercedes C-Class

In this video, you can see how the spare tire works on a Mercedes C-Class. The tire has a standard rim and is inflated to a service pressure of about 40 PSI. Then, a special cap, provided with the tire, is inserted, which releases air from the tire itself, allowing it to deflate to a shape resembling a donut while maintaining its form. This way, the tire can be placed in its housing, taking the place of a compact spare tire, but it is actually a regular tire. In case of need, simply inflate it with its compressor, and it will return to normal.
