Mercedes Classe C - Video tutorial

Model: Mercedes Classe C W205 - Years 2014-2021
Part: Wheel
Operation: How do the spare wheels on the Mercedes C-Class work?

In this video we can see how the spare wheel of a Mercedes C-Class works. The wheel has a normal rim and is inflated to the recommended pressure, around 40 PSI. Then a special cap, which is provided with the tire, is inserted to remove the air from the tire itself, causing it to deflate and resemble a kind of doughnut, but still maintaining its shape. This way, the tire can be inserted into its housing, replacing the temporary spare wheel, while actually being a normal tire. In fact, in case of need, it will only require inflation with its compressor and it will return to its perfectly normal state.
