Replacing the Car Door Handle

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009

This guide shows you how to change the outer door handle of your car. Once you have the replacement part, remove the old handle; usually, the screws that hold the handle are easy to unscrew. Take out the screws that secure the inner plastic cover of the door, making sure to find all the fastening screws. After removing all the screws, take off the door cover and observe the handle lock, which will be secured with screws to the door. Then, simply insert the handle lock into the designated slot of the piece you removed and secure it with the same screws.
