Replacing the side mirror glass on a Mercedes E-Class, W124, is very simple. Start by fully lowering the door window to avoid any impact, then carefully insert a plastic lever between the side mirror and the glass. By applying some force, you should be able to completely extract the glass, disconnect the connector, and then take the new mirror. Proceed by connecting the connector to the new glass and then snap it into its housing. Once inserted, check that it is properly seated by moving it.
