How to Reset the Service Light on a Mercedes A-Class?

To reset the service light on a Mercedes A-Class, turn on the instrument cluster and navigate through the menu using the directional arrows on the steering wheel controls. Select the icon with two wrenches, then choose the ASSYST PLUS option. Next, select FULL SERVICE, and proceed to select the oil quality based on what was used for the oil change. A screen will appear asking if you want to confirm the operation: selecting "Yes" will turn off the service light permanently.
