To reset the service of the Mercedes Class A W196, start by turning the key to the first position, then press the button to the left of the odometer, press the button with the arrow pointing down on the left side of the steering wheel to bring up a list, press the "-" button on the right side of the steering wheel until the fourth item is displayed, press the button at the bottom left on the left side of the steering wheel to confirm, then press the button again at the bottom left on the left side of the steering wheel until the message indicating the service reset is displayed.
