How do you replace the bulb in the mirror of the Mercedes C-Class?

In order to replace the bulb of the Mercedes C-Class side mirror, you need to push the mirror glass all the way inwards and then close it: this way you can leverage the inner part of its support to remove the cover. Once the cover is removed, you can locate the screws that secure the spotlight connected to it from the inside, remove it completely and pull out the bulb inside it: the bulb can now be replaced with a new one, reconnecting the spotlight and reinstalling the cover in its place.
