How to perform MG Hector engine oil replacement.

The guide shows how to perform an oil change on the MG Hector. The first step is to remove the old filter cartridge, located at the front of the engine, using a cup wrench. Drain the oil into a container for disposal. Clean the filter housing and, after lubricating the gasket of the new filter, tighten it in place. From underneath the vehicle, remove the T50 Torx screw from the oil pan drain plug; drain the lubricant into a container for disposal. Replace the old gasket on the plug and, after lubricating it, reinstall it in place. Clean any oil residue and tighten the drain plug. From the engine compartment, fill the oil tank with the correct amount and run the engine for a few minutes. Check the fluid level and top up if necessary.
