How to disassemble the alternator of the Mini Cooper

Model: Mini Mini R52, R50, R53 - Years 2001-2007

Today we will see the step-by-step instructions that will allow us to disassemble and replace the alternator of the Mini Cooper. First of all, we open the hood of the car and start by disconnecting both battery terminals; then we unscrew the fixing screws of the front bumper, in order to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point, we unscrew the screws of the horn and disconnect its electrical connector; we will find the alternator at the back, where we will disconnect its belt and wiring, then unscrew the screws to remove it. Replace the alternator with the new one and reassemble everything!
