How do you change the battery of a MINI Mini Cooper S One D Clubman key?

Changing the key battery is a five-minute job, usually a very easy operation. Take the key and look on the back, there is a small panel. Open it with a flathead screwdriver or a coin gently. Inside you will find the battery, usually a CR2032. Remove it using the tip of the screwdriver if necessary, then insert the new one in the same direction. Close everything and try it, if the key works, mission accomplished. If it doesn't work, check that the battery is properly positioned. Now you can go back to enjoying your MINI without worries. If you don't feel comfortable doing this simple operation on your own, don't worry and seek help from an experienced person.
