How does the tire monitoring system work on the Mini R50/R53?
Model: Mini Mini
R52, R50, R53
- Years 2001-2007
In this video we are shown how the indirect tire monitoring system works, which is used on the Mini R50/R53: being a car with less modern design, this model relied on ABS sensors for monitoring tire pressure, thus having an indirect system. In fact, the ABS sensor, located on the hub of each wheel, measures the rotations of the wheel itself, and when all tires are properly inflated, they rotate at the same rate. If one of them has less pressure, it rotates differently and therefore triggers the tire pressure warning light on the instrument panel. However, we have to locate which tire it is by checking them all, whereas with the direct system - having a dedicated sensor right in the tire - it tells us exactly which tire it is.

Remove the Front Door Panel on Jeep Renegade
How to remove the front door panel on a Jeep Renegade? Follow these steps: before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine compartment. Begin disassembly: using a lever, remove the switch panel located on the door handle, then use a screwdriver to unscrew the securing screws located there. Once all screws are removed, detach the plastic clips that secure the door. Remove the door panel by hand, disconnect the power connectors and the door release cable. by ScegliAuto More videos
