How to replace the battery of a 2010 Mini Cooper?

The battery of the 2010 Mini Cooper model r56 is located inside the front hood on the right side next to the air filter. To replace the battery, we need to open the front hood and remove the plastic cover by unscrewing the two side nuts. After removing the cover and gasket, disconnect the negative pole connector and immediately after the positive pole connector. Unscrew the nuts on the bracket to remove the battery. Insert the new battery into the housing and connect the positive pole connector and then the negative one. Mount the bracket and cover and then close the front hood.
