How to Replace the Indicator Bulb on a Mini Cooper

Let’s see how to replace the front indicator bulb on a Mini Cooper R56: turn the steering wheel to the opposite side of the headlamp to be replaced, creating space to access from the wheel arch. Behind the bumper, you will find two black plastic covers: the larger one is for the dipped beam headlamp, and the smaller one below is for the indicator. Rotate it to the left to unlock it, allowing you to reach in and extract the bulb, which you will remove by turning it to the left. Replace it with a new bulb, handling it only with disposable gloves; reattach it to its holder by turning it to the right. Reattach the cover by turning it clockwise, straighten the steering wheel, and check by turning on the indicator.
