The fuse related to the operation of the boot light on a Mini Cooper model R56 is designated F16, 10 Amps. To replace it, open the passenger door and remove the lower dashboard panel behind which the fuse box is located. To facilitate the replacement, refer to the diagram on the cover of the fuse box. Using pliers, extract the fuse and insert the new one, maintaining the same amperage.

If problems persist, check the operation of the connector for the interior light.
