How to Activate the On-Board Computer on a Mini One D R50

To activate the on-board computer on a Mini One D R50, there is no dedicated physical button; activation occurs via the "BC" button on the wiper stalk or steering wheel, depending on the configuration. Turn on the ignition, and on the display between the rev counter and speedometer, one of the following options should appear: average consumption; range; average speed; outside temperature; time. Briefly press the BC button to change the option: hold the button to reset the current function. If nothing appears, check the on-board computer fuse located in the fuse box in the cabin. Some Mini R50 models do not have the on-board computer installed as standard; in that case, an aftermarket kit must be installed.
