First, enter the cabin, then grasp the base trim of the gaiter and unclip it from the centre console. Next, grip the gear knob, pull it upwards with force, and detach it from the gear stick. At this point, simply separate the old knob from the gaiter, attach the replacement using a plastic tie if necessary, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
