How to Start/Stop the Engine in a Mini Countryman

Model: Mini Mini Countryman1, R60 - Years 2010-2016

To start the engine of a Mini Countryman, enter the cabin with the electronic key and ensure the gearbox is in position P for automatic versions. Fully depress the brake pedal; then locate the distinctive Start/Stop button situated in the central area of the dashboard and press it once while keeping the pedal pressed. The system will automatically recognise the key and start the engine. After starting, release the pedal and check that no warning lights remain illuminated on the dashboard. To stop the engine, bring the vehicle to a complete stop, shift the automatic gearbox to P, and press the Start/Stop button again.
