How to Reset the "Service" Light on a Mini Countryman

Model: Mini Mini Countryman1, R60 - Years 2010-2016

Before you start, sit in the driver's seat of your Mini Countryman. Turn on the ignition by turning the key in the ignition switch. Next, press the "BC" button repeatedly until the time appears on the multifunction display. Once this is done, press and hold both the "BC" and "0.0" buttons simultaneously until you reach the service screen. At this point, press the "BC" button once, then hold it down again until the "Service" light goes out, completing the reset.
