Let's see in this video how to remove and replace the key remote control battery on the Mini Cooper R53, following these simple steps. First we take our remote control and start by prying the sides with something thin, like a small flat screwdriver, in order to separate the two remote control shells; in this way we will access the electronic board and the battery, which we find immediately behind, as shown in the video. At this point, let's remove it and replace it with the new one, of the right type (in this case a 3V CR 2025); insert it in the correct direction and reassemble the remote control!
