In this video, you will see how to reset the service on the second series Mini Cooper, known as the R56 under BMW. Start by turning the ignition key to position 1 or, if the vehicle has keyless entry, press the start & stop button once. After the vehicle has completed its check, you can perform the operation. Scroll through the settings until you find the average speed; then enter the menu by pressing the button on the left stalk, hold the button until 'reset' appears on the screen; a further press will complete the service reset.
