To replace the cabin filter on the Mini One, detach the seal located on the driver's door pillar so that you can also remove the side cover of the dashboard. Once this is removed, you will also need to detach the cover under the steering wheel and unscrew the bolts of the side cover of the centre console, again on the driver's side.

By removing this cover, you will gain access to the filter box, allowing you to open it, pull out the cabin filter from its housing, and replace it.
